Traditional Garibaldi Festival in Cesenatico
from 3 to 4 August

Event commemorating the embarkation of the hero of the two worlds from Cesenatico on 2 August 1849!

Saturday 3 August

• Palio della Cuccagna among the Neighborhoods
  Porto Canale, Squero area - 8.30 pm
• Watermelon tasting offered by the E'Mont neighborhood
  Porto Canale on the eastern side, next to the Pescheria Comunale - 9.30 pm

Sunday 4 August

• Procession with authorities and Garibaldi - accompanied by the ''city of Gradara'' band
  Porto Canale departing from the Town Hall - from 9.15 am
• Followed by a celebratory re-enactment by the national president of the National Veterans Association Prof. Raffaella Ponte
  Boarding the motor ships for the procession at sea
• Great musical fireworks show on the water
  Stretch of sea in front of Piazza Costa - 10.00 pm
